The 1948 Chawton Edition.

I recently got handed down this set of Jane Austen books - the 1948 Chawton Edition. Aren't they gorgeous?

Though, 'Northanger Abbey and The Watsons' was missing, and I really rather wanted the full set, what with Northanger Abbey being one of my favourites.

Asking around I was told about a website called AbeBooks - where you can search for new, secondhand, rare and out of print books - and found one for a total of £6! As you can imagine, I was rather happy.

Anyway, the chapter titles have little borders and oh they're just lovely...

Peter Pan collar.

I found this tutorial on pinterest, and decided to give it a go.

Peter Pan collars are adorable, after all.

Here's how it came out!

Now, sewing cotton onto a t-shirt isn't the easiest thing in the world, and I think I needed some thicker bias binding, but I don't think it turned out too bad...even if I do say so myself.

Allow me to introduce myself.
